Regarding blood donation: I have been totally sexually abstinent [and everything else] for um, 20 years , okay? In that period I gave blood [Red Cross] a considerable number of times; I was then in my 60's, early 70's. A couple of years ago , just to see what they'd do, I wore my "QUEER" T-shirt to the donation site; and they REJECTED me on some flimsy pretext or other. My position is, Hey the hell w/ you.Anybody else have any similar experience? Abe

With blood donation? no

With being rejected on some flimsy pretext? yes 1000 times yes

My friend fainted while he was giving blood. He came around quick enough but we were very worried, not least because he was giving us a lift home,
