Is it allowed? In one topic, I said that the bible 'wasn't written by 66 people, it was written by 66 f***ed up goatherders.' It got deleted. Is there a rule agains saying things like that?

I believe that Magus was flaming and that both the flame and counter-flame were extinguished.

Yup, that's the one. Thanks. Do you remember what Magus posted, so I can clarify what the rules are?

No. I can guess that it was something meant to incite the infidels here to anger, and that in fact distracted discussion from the ostensible point of the thread, "what's the best arguement against HJ?" And I do know that Magus said that mark9950 was making 'no sense, as usual'. But, no.Originally posted by winstonjen

My own understanding of the rule is that the comments of someone like Magus should be directed to establishing something about the subject rather than encouraging mindless responses by distracting from the subject. Direct character assassination is not the only way to derail a thread.
